Melz on The MIC can be heard every afternoon from Noon-3:00 pm on Jammin On The J-O-B, where he speeds up your workday with jams and his entertaining personality. We get you through it while covering local topics, entertainment, and so much more! When Melz cuts the M-I-C on, expect ENERGY anytime he's on the air to make the middle of the work day (and your lunch break) more fun! Melz is one of radio's fastest rising stars, already garnering 2 award nominations for "Radio Personality Of The Year" at The Southern Entertainment Awards in 2016 and 2018, and worked his way from overnights to afternoon drive in less than 3 years with his fun, opinionated, and positive approach! Before starting his radio journey in 2013, Melz started a video production company and hosted a web series called HotBox254, which featured interviews and entertainment from the best acts in the CenTex and around the country. Melz has directed and produced over 100 music videos and interviews over a 5 year span, but radio was always a passion he wanted to pursue and he did just that! After a short stint at KOOC B106.3, Melz was given the opportunity to rock afternoons on Kiss-FM in 2015 and he's been on a fun and incredible ride ever since! Melz has hosted several community events including the Central Texas Community Expo, the Central Texas Sickle Cell Anemia Telethon, the Killeen Christmas Parade, and several comedy, concert and nightclub parties in Central Texas. Melz has also contributed to the CTX Community by giving away turkeys to families in need with Melz Birthday Turkey Giveaway, and has helped collect toys for charity annually with the Toyz N Da Hood Toy Drive and Toys for Troops. He's also a regular correspondent for the syndicated TV series TMZ Live! Melz is happily married to his wife Carisa and a proud father of 3 sons.
