Pigs Rescued In Laurens, NY Animal Abuse Case
On Monday, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office responded to an animal abuse case in the Town of Laurens, NY involving 4 pigs living in a feces and mud filled shed. The animals had been deprived of food and water for an unknown amount of time and appeared very weak and very underweight according to the Susquehanna Animal Shelter who was called in to assist with the rescue.
Following a medical assessment, the pigs are to be taken to Southern New York Pig Rescue where they will be nursed back to health.
