New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced a new public-private research collaboration to advance the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases. The partnership is between the New York State Department of Health Wadsworth Center Laboratory and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and will potentially develop improved diagnostics, and therapeutics for the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases, starting with Lyme disease.
